The Loveland Blue Jays are a member club of the Centennial State League, a collegiate summer wood bat baseball league based in Northern Colorado. The Blue Jays feature top collegiate baseball players from around the country, and, just like Minor League Baseball, provide fun and affordable family entertainment for everyone in Loveland and the surrounding areas from early June through late July.
To play for the Blue Jays in 2016, a player must be a student at a junior college or four-year college, an active member of the school's baseball team, and have eligibility remaining in accordance with NCAA and/or NAIA regulations. High school students that have graduated and will be enrolling in college in the fall are also eligible. Non-college players (such as former college players), as well as those who are under a current professional baseball contract, cannot play for the Blue Jays.
